The Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) announced it is accepting applications to serve on one of its six Technical Advisory Committees (TACs).

FIATA reminds air freight forwarders that new European Union (EU) requirements will enter into force under Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/920, effective Sept. 1. These requirements apply to Regulated Agents (RAs), which are entities formally approved by the competent EU authority to apply security controls to cargo.
