Patrick J. Caulfield is a Partner at GDLSK’s New York office. Patrick has
worked in international trade and customs his entire professional
career. Prior to law school, Patrick worked in the freight
forwarding and customs brokerage industry with various firms where he gained
valuable experience in dealing with U.S. Customs matters (classification,
valuation, and licensing). Patrick has been at GDLSK since graduating law
school and has been involved in almost all areas of the field including classification,
valuation, licensing, duty-savings programs, compliance, antidumping and
countervailing duty matters and customs enforcement issues including detentions
and seizures related to allegations of forced labor in supply
chains. Patrick also works extensively on customs broker regulations
and serves as customs counsel to the JFK Airport Customs Broker and Freight
Forwarder Association.
