Omar Qureshi is the Branch Chief of the Broker Management Branch. In this role, he oversees the development and administration of the Customs Broker License Exam, the issuance and denial of broker licenses, broker enforcement and compliance policy, and the implementation of regulations governing broker activities. Prior to this role, Mr. Qureshi was the Special Assistant to the Executive Director of Trade Policy and Programs. Mr. Qureshi also was an International Trade Specialist in the IPR Policy branch of the IPR and E-Commerce Division in the Trade Policy and Programs Directorate. Before arriving at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, he spent four years at the Department of Commerce as an International Trade Compliance Analyst working on antidumping and countervailing duty enforcement.
