Butch Connor is the President of John S. Connor, Inc. a leading provider of customs brokerage, vessel agent, supply chain and logistics services for global importers and shippers. John S. Connor was founded in 1917 by Butch’s grandfather, John. The firm remains family-owned and is headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland.

In addition to his leadership of the company, Mr. Connor’s expertise includes logistics planning, supply chain management,  project cargo, export compliance, as well as developing and building relationships with strategic international partners.         

He has held various management positions and has over 35 years of experience in international transportation, logistics and freight forwarding. 

Butch has served on the Transportation Committee of the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America since 2014.  He has also worked with the U.S. Census Bureau, Foreign Trade Division and the U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security on trade outreach programs.

Butch is currently the President on the Board of Directors of the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America Shippers Association.
