Bryan Smith obtained his Property and Casualty insurance license in 2021 following in the footsteps of a long line of family members in the insurance business, after years of a successful career managing account relationships in a different industry. Now in his 3rd year with IB&M specializing in the Transportation & Logistics, Bryan engrosses himself into the world of Freight Forwarders, Domestic Freight Brokers, and Customs Brokers by regularly attending Port Association seminars, conferences, and annual trainings at the AIMU concerning freight liabilities and cargo risks.
Bryan is well-versed in Customs & Transportation Bond requirements and stays up to date on current industry trends. He regularly oversees coverage placements for Logistics Professionals and advises on coverages while identifying exposures, asking questions, and understanding each company’s unique operational needs.
Bryan is a 2008 graduate of Marist College and currently lives in Hoboken, New Jersey with his wife and is a proud father of a 5-year-old boy and 3-year-old daughter.
