Headquartered in the Washington DC metro area, the NCBFAA represents more than 1422+ member companies with 110,000 employees in international trade - the nation's leading freight forwarders, customs brokers, ocean transportation intermediaries (OTIs), NVOCCs and air cargo agents, serving more than 250,000 importers and exporters. The Association’s members handle more than 97% of the entries for goods imported into the United States and are directly involved with the logistics of these goods. Further, members operating as OTIs are involved with approximately 80 to 85% of all exports from the United States.

Sandra (Sandy) Langford-Coty is the Director of Operational Development at A.N. Deringer, Inc. In this position she oversees the corporate audit program and serves as a liaison between systems and operations in implementation of new regulations and process improvements
Sandy is Chair of the Customs Committee for the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA). Additionally, she serves the Pacific Coast Council of Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association in her role as President. She is a member of the 17th Term of the Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee (COAC) and is active within US Customs and Border Protection’s Trade Support Network. In addition. Sandy also has served as Past President of the Los Angeles Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association (LACBFFA)..
In May 2024, Sandy was honored with the Marjorie M. Shostak Distinguished Service Award by the Foreign Trade Association during World Trade Week.
Sandy is a Licensed Customs Broker and a Certified Customs Specialist with a bachelor’s degree in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts.
Daniel Klein, CCS, Data Analyst

Daniel has been part of Deringer’s Trade Compliance Services team since 2018. As a Data Analyst, he supports both internal teams and clients by identifying areas of regulatory importance and analyzing import data using tools like ACE. His work focuses on flagging changes in duty rates, new AD/CVD cases, and evolving PGA requirements. Daniel regularly reviews reports to pin...
