Division (NCSD) is hosting the following webinars in the month of June as a
part of the 2025 NCSD webinar series. These webinars are scheduled for 1:30
p.m. ET.
To

webinar on their confirmation email, but entry into the webinar is on a
first-come, first-served basis as seats are limited. After the live event, this

and Checking Instruments of Heading 9031 – The “Measuring and Checking
Instruments of Heading 9031” is part of the 2025 Educations Commodity Specific
Webinar Series hosted by the National Commodity Specialist Division,
Regulations and Rulings, Office of Trade. This webinar will be on the classification
of items within heading 9031. Additionally, we will provide case studies
emphasizing our logic behind the classification within heading 9031 and
highlight items that would be excluded.

Devices of Heading 8517 –
The “Telecommunication Devices of Heading 8517” is part of the 2025 Educations
Commodity Specific Webinar Series hosted by the National Commodity Specialist
Division, Regulations and Rulings, Office of Trade. This webinar will cover an
overview of heading 8517, HTSUS, which covers telephones and other
transmission/reception devices. The webinar will focus on the proper
classification of goods, in support of balancing fair trade.

Overview of Welding Machines and Apparatus – The “An Overview of Welding
Machines and Apparatus” is part of the 2025 Educations Commodity Specific
Webinar Series hosted by the National Commodity Specialist Division,
Regulations and Rulings, Office of Trade. This webinar focuses largely on the
merchandise of heading 8515 and how to interpret the scope of the heading. We
will also explore various kinds of machines that are related to welding. The
classification of merchandise within this heading will be the driving force for
balancing fair trade.

Glove Classification Information –
The “Handy” Glove Classification Information” is part of the 2025 Educations
Commodity Specific Webinar Series hosted by the National Commodity Specialist
Division, Regulations and Rulings, Office of Trade. This webinar will
cover practical tips for classifying gloves of all types under the Harmonized
Tariff Schedule of the United States. Our goal with this webinar is to assist
the trade in understanding what details need to be gathered for the proper
entry of glove shipments and how to make informed classification decisions to
ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

of Hand Tools Classified in Chapter 82 – The “Overview of Hand Tools Classified in Chapter
82” is part of the 2025 Educations Commodity Specific Webinar Series hosted by
the National Commodity Specialist Division, Regulations and Rulings, Office of
Trade. This webinar will discuss the classification of hand tools that fall
within headings 8201 through 8205. Legal Notes and Explanatory Notes related to
these headings will be reviewed, along with pictural examples of tools
classified in these headings.
