• BIS Revision to Firearms License Requirements

  The Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) issued a final rule, effective Sept. 30, relaxing license requirements and reducing unnecessary regulatory burdens on Americans and the industry. This rule rescinds a previous interim final rule published on April 30, 2024, which expanded controls and license requirements for firearms.

After the live event, this and other previously recorded webinars will be available for replay at Trade Outreach Webinars | U.S. Customs and Border Protection (cbp.gov). 

These webinars are a part of CBP’s Continuing Education Program and will be worth one (1) credit each.

Thursday, January 23, 2025: Licensed Customs Broker Continuing Education – What Do You Need to Do as an Education Provider? – With a focus on education providers, CBP and the Partner Accreditors will provide an overview of the process for requesting accreditation for eligible activities.
