Certified Export Specialist (CES) Certification ProgramProgram Description - The CES certification program is designed to help trade professionals involved in CES COURSE Who Should Attend: Individuals working in the forwarding industry interested in expanding their fundamental knowledge of the industry. Benefits of Attending Key Topics: Export Controls Basics, Export Administration Regulations, Destination Country Controls, State Department– ITAR, Office of Foreign Assets and Control, Other Government Agencies, Census, Recordkeeping, Security, Payment Terms, Bookings, Air Freight, Bills of Lading, Destination Country Requirements, Marine Cargo Insurance, Export Licenses, ECCN Classification, Anti Boycott Regulations, Drug Enforcement Agency, Export Violations, Helpful Hints, Export Quotations, Letters of Credit, NVOCC, AES/EEI, Export Documentation, Carnet, and Federal Maritime Commission Regulations. Grandfathering Eligibility: Apply for Grandfathering 1) If you are currently a COF, you can automatically grandfather as a CES. If you pay $95.00 (or $80.00 if you are through a MOU) at this time the certification will run through the end of 2010. Requirements for points will begin in 2011 and you will need to pay a renewal fee in 2011. or 2) We have established a way for experienced export personnel to become a CES. In order to qualify:
